Beneficiary planning for your Arch loans

Name someone who can request to take over your loans if you pass away or are no longer able to manage them. A one-time $1,000 fee covers every loan you hold today and any you may open in the future, including refinances and rollovers.

Why add beneficiary planning

A plan for your account

Your Arch loans don't automatically pass to anyone. If you can't manage them, repayments stay due and collateral could be liquidated if loan terms aren't met. Name a successor who can request to take over your loans.

One fee, every loan

Pay $1,000 once, with no annual fees or renewals. Your beneficiary planning election applies to every loan on your account, including new loans, refinances and rollovers. No need to start over each time you borrow.

A simpler way to plan ahead

No complicated setup or lengthy process. Pay the one-time $1,000 fee and sign a short addendum naming your successor. Want to talk it through first? Book an optional 15-minute call with our team before you sign.

How beneficiary planning works

Four simple steps, with a real person on our team to help along the way.

11
Book a call (optional)

Want to talk it through first? We'll explain the process and answer your questions before you make a payment.

22
Pay a one-time $1,000 fee

Pay by card. There are no annual fees or renewals, and the fee is separate from your loan pricing, so it doesn't affect your interest rate or APR.

33
Name your successor and sign

We'll email you a short addendum soon after. Enter your successor's full legal name, review the document and sign.

44
Every loan is covered

Once payment is confirmed and your signed addendum is on file, every loan in your dashboard will display "Protected by beneficiary planning".

What it covers

Beneficiary planning is an addendum to your account, not a change to your loan.
